Overview. GetLTCPulse uses artificial intelligence (including Google's Gemini models) to generate certain content within the platform, including but not limited to: survey and compliance guidance, regulatory update summaries, notification drafts, meeting agendas, facility risk pattern detection, and department “Facility Picture” summaries.

No professional advice. AI-generated content is provided for informational and organizational assistance only. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, clinical, or professional advice, and does not represent an official determination by CMS, any state survey agency, or any other regulatory body. Users are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it or acting upon it.

Do not enter protected health information. Do not enter resident-identifiable or protected health information (PHI) into any text field within GetLTCPulse, including Quick Notes, Department Head Interviews, notification drafts, Ask AI queries on alerts and tasks, or any other free-text field. These fields may be processed by third-party AI services, and GetLTCPulse is not designed or intended to store or transmit resident-level or clinical data.

Features that use AI. The following platform features may send user-entered text to Google's Gemini API for processing:

• Quick Notes — AI-assisted summarization and categorization
• Department Head Interviews — “Generate Facility Picture” cross-department analysis
• Notification Drafts — AI-drafted alert and task notifications
• Ask AI — AI guidance on alerts, tasks, and remediation items
• CMS Watch — AI-assisted regulatory update summaries and auto-detection of affected community types
• Leadership — AI-assisted meeting agenda generation

Third-party processing. When AI features are used, the text you have entered is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Google's data handling practices apply to that transmission. GetLTCPulse does not control how third-party AI providers store or process transmitted data.
